Please join us on training rides on the route of the Tour of Pembrokeshire. A chance to recce the route and see how well prepared you are for April.
Pembrokeshire Active is running the Tour of Pembrokeshire Ride Outs in association with local cycling club the Narberth Dynamos who will help with further local knowledge and passing on group riding skills to participants.
There is a cover charge of £5 to ride, each rider will receive a ticket for a free rideout on their next ride, the cover includes: -
- local knowledge and advice about the route and how best to tackle each part of it – also some short stops along the way for a briefing about the upcoming section, what to expect and tips for tackling it. We will also cover group riding skills including hand signals etc
- a feed stop around half way with a sample of the foods that will be on offer on the Tour itself
- mechanical support at the feed stop
Ride Dates And Routes
From February onwards the Saturday ride will be the full 50 mile route from St Davids (52 miles) and the Sunday ride will be the complete Eastern end of the 100 mile route (57 miles) exactly as last year with the dates as follows:
- April 11 and 12
